What is the Response Guidance Engine?
For every classified crisis signal or narrative, Monitr uses AI to recommend whether you should engage, stay silent, issue an apology, clarify facts, or escalate to legal — along with a draft holding statement. The backend is live; the in-dashboard "review and approve" UI is currently in beta (today the output is surfaced via admin tooling). It's the decision layer most monitoring tools skip entirely.
What does "dark social" monitoring mean?
Reputation crises increasingly start in private channels — Telegram groups, Discord servers, WhatsApp forwards — before they hit Twitter or the press. Monitr's Telegram and Discord connectors are deployed in beta. WhatsApp is keyword-based detection that surfaces WhatsApp content when it appears on other public channels — we do not connect into WhatsApp directly. No other major monitoring tool covers this layer.
What is a narrative?
A narrative is a group of related signals from different platforms that share the same topic. If a Reddit thread, three Twitter posts, and a news article all discuss the same product failure, Monitr groups them into one trackable incident — so you see the full picture, not 5 separate alerts. (Narrative stitching is in beta — backend works; dedicated UI shipping shortly.)
